Remote and hybrid school was hard (for us too) and sometimes zoom class time was not enough to get through a unit or help with tricky questions. We are here to help in small homework help group and individual zooms to bridge any gaps.

Hopscotch Help is a completely free service to help NYC students affected by COVID-19 catch up, hone academic skills or prepare for the next school year
We are here to help middle and upper elementary school students! Hopscotch Help has high school students ready to hop onto zoom sessions to help keep students learning and ready for next year. We have been there! Remote and hybrid school left lots of kids not quite sure where they were in math and ELA classes and not sure they are ready for the next steps. We want to help with that.
Services we provide
- Algebra catch up – we’ll work through a few problems or go over concepts
- Fractions, decimals and other upper elementary concepts
- ELA – we can read and discuss passages, spend time with kids reading aloud to gain fluency and speed
- Getting ready for the SHSAT? We can help go through problems and answers that are giving you trouble
- Small groups – look at our calendar to sign up for a specific session!- One on one sessions available for specific help!
